FAQs

Straight answers, before you sign up

Everything people usually ask about the address, the mail, verification and the fine print, in plain English.

Using the address

The address

What can I use the address for?

Company registration with ASIC, your ABN records, your website, invoices, letterheads, business bank correspondence and general business mail. In short: anywhere your business needs a professional address.

What can’t the address be used for?

It can’t be used as a residential address, for anything unlawful, or to receive goods and deliveries outside your plan’s mail service. It also isn’t a substitute for licences that require you to physically operate from the premises.

If you’re unsure about a specific use, ask before you sign up. We’d rather tell you straight.

Can I use it as my ASIC registered office and for my ABN?

Yes. Australian companies may use a serviced address as their registered office where the occupier consents, and consent is part of your plan. Your approval confirmation is your record of that consent.

Is this a PO Box?

No. It’s a street address at a real commercial building, which is exactly why it works for company registration where a PO Box doesn’t.

Can I meet clients at the building?

Growth and Executive plans include monthly coworking and meeting-room credits, so you can book a room and meet them properly. Full coworking is coming soon.

Mail handling

Your mail

How quickly is my mail processed?

Mail is logged when it arrives at the building and you’re notified straight away. Scanning and forwarding are actioned on request, typically the same business day.

How do scan and forward work?

When you’re notified, choose what happens: we open and scan the item to your inbox, forward the original to an address you nominate, or hold it for collection. Forwarding postage is passed on at cost and added to your next invoice.

Can you receive parcels?

Standard business letter mail is included in every plan. Small parcels can be received on the Growth and Executive plans; oversized deliveries need prior arrangement.

Who sees my mail? Is it private?

Only authorised staff handle your mail, and nothing is opened unless you request a scan. Your account details and identity documents are stored securely and used only for verification and compliance.

Verification & account

The paperwork

Why do I need to verify my identity?

Australian AML/KYC rules require it, and it’s a feature. Verification keeps this address reserved for legitimate businesses, which protects the reputation of every member using it.

What happens if my verification fails?

We’ll tell you exactly what’s missing and give you the chance to fix it; often it’s just a clearer document photo. If your application ultimately can’t be approved, your plan fee is refunded in full.

How long does approval take?

Signup and identity checks take minutes. A real person then reviews and approves your account, usually within one business day.

How do I cancel?

Online, from your account, the same way you signed up. Plans are month-to-month, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Remember to update your ASIC and ABN records before your plan ends.

Can I upgrade or downgrade later?

Yes, any time. Start on Starter, add reception when the phone starts ringing, and move to Executive when you want your own number.

Is there a setup fee?

No setup fee and no hidden extras. Your plan price is all you pay.

When do coworking and the studios open?

Launch details are still being confirmed. Join the waitlist on the Coworking, Podcast Studios or Light Studio page and you’ll hear first.
